Research about live support..

i'm currently doing a research about live support as messaging tool.
I've been to liveperson.com, xigla.com and phplivesupport.com.
Does anyone have great ideas for me on how to start it using asp or asp.net?
which approach should i take?
i have no clue at all.

Hey mate, I know it's been a while but right now I am writting a thesis about Live support and the main variables that lead to a good online customer care, could you get information about it?
