Please help with click counter database

Hello:
I am using your banner ad rotator script here:

This script works very well and I thank you for it.
I would like to add a click counting database, but am new at this and do not know how! On this page linked above, it is stated that this is quite simple to create -- if someone can tell me how to create a database that will count the ad clicks, I would greatly appreciate the help!
