Passing div name as querystring

Ok, here's what I'm wanting to do. I have a js that will display sections of a page depending on which one I click on page 2. What I want to do is based on a link I click in page 1, I want it to open page 2 with that DIV opened. Any way to do that? I was thinking maybe a querystring but before I run down that road I want to know if it is even feasible or if there is a better way. Thanks folks.

Does this mean no one knows of any way to accomplish this? Doesn't anyone even want to take a stab at it??? Need a code sample, just ask me...
